I have been using it for about a month now and although I didn't see an immediate result, my skin now is more lush when compared to my skin a month ago. It didn't cause my skin to break out or purge though I did gradually build up a tolerance for it. It gives a warm feeling when it is smoothed on the skin but no burning or tingling sensation. It's a great product for those looking to build their skincare regime.

4.0 out of 5 stars Heavy and oily Much heavier than niancimide. Feels warm on the skin whereas Bua iconise feels cooler.Started using it two days ago- have noticed some tiny blisters. Waiting to see if it is “ purging” or “dermatitis”.I use it in the night and layer it with a ceramide moisturiser. 

4.0 out of 5 stars Retinol is amazing First time used retinol in my skin care regime. Bought minimalist one. It is oily and at first i was terrified because my skin is sensitive acne prone. I was also terrified for purging which i heard happens with retinol. Purging happened with me with loreal paris microessence which calmed down after a week.But with this retinol there was no purging. It is oily but no adverse effect on skin. After applying skin looks ewwww since it makes face look very oily nd dull but since it is to be applied in PM so no issues with that. After washing the next morning the skin becomes bright. I noticed a shine on my face after using it thrice the alternate days. Fasttt result. Regarding wrinkles nd all i cant comment since i dont hv any specific wrinkling. It does give shine on face. Not glow or radiance but a nice skin shine. It makes you look healthy :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Best fine lines skin care product in the market I am currently 33 years old and I have recently started seeing some fine lines around my eyes and of course I was worried about them. So, I have been using this product for 3 weeks now and I used it according to the instructions given on the product. Amazingly, only after 3 weeks and using it just for 2-3 days per week, I can see a huge difference on my skin texture, my fine lines are almost gone and my skin looks much brighter than it was before using this product.Though I had my doubts and I had experienced purging and dry skin coming off of my face during the first week of applying this product but I didn't stop it coz that's how the compound retinol works on the skin cells.So, yes, I am really very happy with this product and I am going to continue using it. I hope my review will make a difference for the retinol beginners and can make an informed decision before purchasing any retinol products. 

4.0 out of 5 stars Packaging is good Haven't tried the product yet, just received the item. But the packaging is v good and minimal. And it is sealed.Will use for a month and definitely come back. Wish me luck guys. 🤞The price is too high though. I bought vitamin c serum 10% and retinol 0.3 and it costed me 1231rs😂 But I hope the quality make it worth it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Probably not for oily skin This is an oil-based retinol so is much more thicker in consistency than a water-based retinol like Deconstruct's for eg. I find the Minimalist formula nice for dry skin days and it also works well when layering with any hyaluronic serum.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product for 25+ ages I’m a person who is recently facing issues with acne and pigmentation. I’ve been using other products but the pigmentation wouldn’t go away especially on the sides of forehead but tried this product based on a consultation with a dermatologist. It did make the face worse after the initial two weeks but once when the exfoliation started, all the pigmentation has gone away and even the fine lines and under eye darkness totally reduced and I got back my young look.

Just after 3 days of use the the dropper broke and I keep my skincare products in a very good condition and I order the same product from the official website and wouldn't you know the the dropper was already broken 🙃

Anyone who decides to use Retinol should definitely do some research (I recommend the YouTube channel Doctorly) before using the product. I’ve seen some criticisms in the reviews here about breakouts and people finding the formula to be too oily. I’ll try and address both points here:1. Your face will probably break out when you first start using Retinol. The product increases the cell turnover of your skin, leading to something called “purging”. Trust me, stick it out for at least a month or two, and you’ll see the benefits.Of course, any redness or breakouts could also be a sign of a bad reaction to Retinol. You’ll know that’s the case of you see breakouts in parts of your face that normally don’t have acne. If that’s the case, just reduce the frequency of Retinol usage in the first months (once every two or three days should do) and sandwich the product between layers of a moisturiser.2. The formula IS oil-based. It has to be for the active ingredient to be stable. I understand that it feels weird going to bed with your skin looking oily, but just trust the process. And if you really feel like it’s leaving your face feeling too greasy, reduce the amount of product that you’re using (5-7 drops is more than enough to cover the face and neck)My only criticism about the product has to do with the packaging. It would be really good if Minimalist started putting seals on their boxes, so that the consumers can be assured that the product they’ve purchased hasn’t been tampered with.
